Privacy Policy
Glossies ("we", "us", "the app") turns photos you pick into a collage. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the Glossies app for iPhone and iPad and this website, glossies.app.
The short version: Glossies has no account, no server, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. Your photos stay on your device. We do not collect your data.
Intended audience and GDPR notice
Glossies is intended for users in the United States. It is not directed at users in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions with comparable data-protection regimes (including but not limited to the EU GDPR and the UK GDPR), and it is not offered on the App Store in the EU or the UK.
Glossies is not GDPR-compliant or UK-GDPR-compliant. We have not built the processes, documentation, controls or compliance infrastructure those regimes require, and we will not honor data-subject access, deletion, portability, restriction, objection or transfer requests made under them. We have no Data Protection Officer and no EU or UK representative.
If you are a resident of the EU, the UK, or any other jurisdiction with a comparable data-protection regime, please do not use Glossies. If you use it anyway, you acknowledge that it is not GDPR or UK-GDPR compliant and that you use it on that basis.
1. Your photos
You choose photos with the iOS photo picker. Glossies receives only the photos you pick, and it cannot see the rest of your library. It never asks for permission to read your photo library.
Glossies arranges and draws the collage on your device. Your photos are never uploaded, copied to a server, or sent anywhere by the app.
2. Saving and sharing
- Save to Photos adds the finished collage to your photo library. iOS asks you for "add only" access the first time; Glossies cannot read your library with it. The saved image carries the caption "Glossies collage" and the keywords "Glossies" and "collage", so you can find it with Photos search. It carries no location and nothing from your original photos.
- Share opens the iOS share sheet. The app you pick there receives the image, and its own privacy policy applies.
- Share to Story hands the image to the Instagram app on your device, only when you tap it. Instagram's privacy policy applies from that point.
3. Information stored on your device
Glossies remembers a few settings on your device so they are the same next time: Size Variety, Story Safe Area, Square Crop and Expert Mode. They never leave your device, and deleting the app deletes them.
4. Information we do not collect
Glossies contains no analytics, advertising, tracking or crash-reporting code, and no third-party software libraries. It does not use your location, your contacts or your camera. Its App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected".
If you turn on "Share With App Developers" in iOS Settings, Apple may give us aggregated crash reports and usage statistics through App Store Connect. Apple controls that sharing; you can turn it off in Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements.
5. This website
glossies.app is hosted by Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes standard request information, such as your IP address, to deliver and protect the site, under Cloudflare's privacy policy. We do not receive request logs.
The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser, and it does not follow you to other sites. A small script from Cloudflare reports the page you viewed, the page that linked you here, your browser and device type, your country, and how fast the page loaded. We see these only as totals, such as visits per day; we cannot tell who you are. To opt out, block static.cloudflareinsights.com in your browser or content blocker; the site works the same without it.
The site sets no cookies and loads no other third-party scripts. The Glossies app contains no analytics of any kind (see section 4).
6. Email to support
If you email support@glossies.app, we receive your email address and your message, and we use them only to reply to you. Mail to that address is forwarded through Cloudflare Email Routing to a personal Gmail inbox.
7. Children's privacy
Glossies collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
8. California residents
We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not collect the categories of personal information described in the California Consumer Privacy Act.
9. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update it here and change the date at the top. If Glossies ever starts collecting information, this page will say so before the app does.
